Azerbaijani military personnel have successfully completed the latest phase of tasks within the "EFES-2026" multinational joint exercises being held in Türkiye.

According to the Ministry of Defense, which provided information to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the participants executed sea-to-shore assault operations as part of the exercise plan. Using high-speed boats, the groups approached simulated enemy positions on the coast under intensive fire support. The units successfully landed, overcame fortifications, and neutralized defensive positions in a short period.

As a result of the effective operations, the shoreline was completely cleared, creating safe conditions for the landing of main forces. The Azerbaijani servicemen demonstrated high professionalism and coordination during the maneuvers, successfully achieving the objectives set for the tactical phase.

The EFES exercises, hosted by Türkiye, represent one of the largest and most significant multinational military maneuvers in the region. These drills aim to enhance the combat readiness and interoperability of participating nations' armed forces in complex operational environments. Azerbaijan's regular participation in such international exercises underscores the country's commitment to modernizing its military capabilities and strengthening defense cooperation with regional partners.
