Azerbaijani Economy Minister meets with President of Uzbekistan

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, was received by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his official visit to Uzbekistan. The meeting focused on strengthening the robust bilateral ties between the two nations.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Minister Jabbarov shared details of the meeting on his social media account. During the discussions, Jabbarov conveyed the greetings of President Ilham Aliyev to President Mirziyoyev. In response, the Uzbek leader expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his confidence in the continued successful development of the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The parties emphasized that the political will of the leaders of both countries has elevated bilateral cooperation to a new, higher level. The discussions centered on expanding economic cooperation, promoting mutual trade and investment initiatives, and strengthening business ties between the two nations.
