Instrumental inspections are due to continue at several existing road overpasses in Baku and surrounding settlements.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads (AAYDA) announced the inspections.
The inspections are scheduled for the following dates and locations: Oct. 4 at the “Chermet” overpass on Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; Oct. 10 at kilometre 10 of the M-1 Baku-Guba-Russian Federation state border highway, near the Ecology checkpoint; and Oct. 11 on the M-1 highway opposite the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex.
According to the agency, the inspections will be carried out on the specified dates between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.
“These inspections are aimed at ensuring the reliable operation of bridges and overpasses, identifying potential risks in a timely manner and strengthening road traffic safety,” AAYDA said.
