Law enforcement agencies in Azerbaijan ensured the detection and resolution of 39 crimes across the country on March 29, including 36 recent incidents and three cold cases from previous periods.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told Operative Information Center-OMM that 20 individuals wanted by the authorities were apprehended, including 11 people sought as debtors. During the operations, police identified 13 facts related to drug offenses and 12 cases involving the discovery and seizure of illegally possessed weapons and ammunition. A total of 34 suspects were detained for various criminal activities.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to conduct regular operations to maintain public order and combat the illegal circulation of narcotics and firearms in Azerbaijan. These measures are part of a broader national strategy to enhance public safety and ensure the rule of law across all regions, including the liberated territories. The MIA urges citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the official "102" Call Center or local police departments.
