A National Data Lake has been established in Azerbaijan, marking a significant step in the country's ongoing digital transformation strategy. This initiative aims to centralize and streamline data management across government sectors, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev announced the development during the inaugural meeting of the Digital Development Council. The Minister emphasized that efforts are actively underway to migrate state information systems to the government cloud and to finalize the construction of a new, state-of-the-art data center.

Minister Nabiyev also highlighted the rapid expansion of the "Mygov" platform, noting that the number of registered users has surged from 2.7 million to 3.5 million over the past three months. Several new applications have already been integrated into the platform, and services from seven additional state applications are scheduled to be available to citizens by the end of the year. These digital initiatives are part of Azerbaijan's broader commitment to modernizing public administration and improving the quality of digital services provided to the public, aligning with global standards for e-government infrastructure.
