The regulations governing the "Electronic Notary" information system in Azerbaijan have been amended following a new decree.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the relevant decision to update the system's operational framework. Under the new rules, the "Electronic Notary" information system will now include protocols for formalizing rights over real estate and movable property registered in official registries. Additionally, the system will integrate enforcement officer decisions regarding property sales conducted through purchase agreements formalized via a notary, as provided for in the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Execution."
The "Electronic Notary" information system serves as a centralized digital platform designed to streamline legal procedures and ensure the security of transactions within Azerbaijan. This latest expansion of the digital database is part of the government's broader initiative to modernize the judicial-legal system and enhance the efficiency of the "Electronic Government" infrastructure. By digitizing enforcement documents and property protocols, the Republic of Azerbaijan aims to increase transparency, minimize bureaucratic delays, and provide more accessible services for citizens and legal entities involved in property transactions.
