The results achieved since the commencement of the Education Student Loan Fund's activities demonstrate high dynamics.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Deputy Minister of Science and Education Kenan Kerimzade shared these figures on his social media account.
He stated that more than 79,000 loan agreements have been formalized to date, with over 74 million manats allocated for the financing of education loans. The deputy minister further noted that 63 percent of those benefiting from education student loans are women.
The Education Student Loan Fund was established in Azerbaijan to ensure accessibility of education for students from low-income families and to create equal opportunities for obtaining higher education. By providing long-term, low-interest financial resources, the fund aims to reduce the financial burden on students and support the development of human capital in the Republic of Azerbaijan. This initiative aligns with the state's broader strategy to modernize the educational infrastructure and enhance the quality of specialized training across the country.
