Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has discussed the condition of Bukayo Saka, who was injured in the Champions League league-phase match against Bayern Munich.
Arteta said Saka underwent another MRI scan at midday today. It was difficult to determine the extent of the injury because a large amount of fluid had collected around the injured area. The head coach said they expected to learn more tomorrow.
“Further examinations and the opinion of specialists are needed. If a player cannot walk comfortably because of pain when leaving the pitch and has restricted movement, those are not good signs,” Arteta said at a news conference.
