Araghchi discusses regional stability with Qatari counterpart

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani have held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that the top diplomats exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and upcoming international events.

During the phone call, both parties emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and expanding bilateral ties across all fields of mutual interest. Furthermore, while discussing recent regional and international developments, the foreign ministers of Iran and Qatar touched upon the necessity of maintaining diplomatic efforts aimed at preserving regional stability and reducing tensions.

Qatar has frequently acted as a key mediator in regional diplomacy, facilitating dialogue between various international actors and Middle Eastern nations.
