Eleven documents were signed during the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026), held in Baku.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the agreements are as follows:
1. Cooperation in construction and development was signed by Anar Akhundov, Deputy Minister of Economy, and Ta Ngoc Da, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of “ROX Group” Joint Stock Company;
2. Cooperation on the development of Azerbaijan’s digital economy was signed by Azer Bayramov, Deputy Minister of Economy, and Gabriela Popescu, General Manager of “Microsoft Romania, Moldova & CIS”;
3. Cooperation on solar and wind energy projects in Azerbaijan was signed by Elnur Soltanov, Deputy Minister of Energy, and Pham Minh Tuan, Chairman of the Executive Board of “Energy Companies – ROX Group”;
4. Production of silicon carbide, silicon oxide and silicon using new technologies was signed by Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of the Authorized Body of the Alat Free Economic Zone, and Vitali Yevdokimenko, founder of “Inoyest AFEZCO”;
5. The ABAK-WASSERSTEIN Switzerland-Azerbaijan plantation and processing facilities projects were signed by Seymur Orujov, head of the Agstafa District Executive Authority, and Zoltan Peter Shtuhlik, representative of the Swiss company “iCsquared GmbH”;
6. The Aghdam poultry project was signed by Ulvi Mansurov, Chairman of the Board of the “Azerbaijan Business Development Fund” OJSC; Niyazi Amirbayov, Chief Executive Officer of “Agro Dairy” LLC, owned by “PASHA Holding” LLC; and Petr Chingr, Deputy Chairman of the Board of “AGROFERT, a.s.”;
7. The project to produce veterinary vaccines was signed by Ulvi Mansurov and Abdullah Tutak, director of “VETAL HAYVAN SAĞLIĞI ÜRÜNLERİ A.Ş.”;
8. The establishment of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility was signed by Ulvi Mansurov and Ondrej Dragun, Chief Financial Officer of “Saneca Pharmaceuticals, a.s.”;
9. The agreement on the Azerbaijan-Oman Direct Investment Fund’s acquisition of a non-controlling stake in “Azer-Turk Bank” OJSC was signed by Dayanat Sadullayev, acting Chief Executive Officer of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, and Saif Almahrouqi, senior manager for “G2G Funds” at the Oman Investment Authority;
10. Cooperation among the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA) and “Esyasoft” was signed by Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR; Zaur Mikayilov, Chairman of ADSEA; and Bibin Chandra, a representative of “Esyasoft”;
11. Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in investment promotion was signed by Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, and Maryna Khlystun, Executive Director of “UkraineInvest”.
The forum brings together public institutions, investors and companies to promote investment opportunities and expand international business partnerships. The signed documents cover strategic areas including renewable energy, digital transformation, agriculture, manufacturing, finance, water management and investment promotion.
