Yuksalish competition exam results announced in Azerbaijan

The results of the general knowledge exam held within the framework of the sixth season of the "Yuksalish" (Ascent) competition have been announced. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, out of 10,176 candidates who participated in the general knowledge exam, 8,551 individuals have earned the right to proceed to the analytical testing stage.

Statistical data reveals that of the participants advancing to the next stage, 6,250 are men and 2,301 are women. In terms of age distribution, the 31-40 age group leads the successful candidates with 4,362 individuals. This is followed by 3,385 candidates in the 21-30 age bracket and 804 candidates aged 41-51. Notably, the successful group includes 35 participants aged 21 and 11 participants aged 51.

Geographically, the highest number of successful candidates was recorded in Baku, with 4,271 individuals qualifying for the next round. Other significant results were observed in the Absheron-Khizi economic region (596), the Garabagh economic region (468), the Lankaran-Astara economic region (406), and the Sheki-Zaqatala economic region (373). Regarding educational background, graduates from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University showed the highest performance at the undergraduate level.

The "Yuksalish" competition was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in 2019. The primary objective of the initiative is to identify and support promising management personnel with high intellectual levels and leadership qualities in Azerbaijan. The competition serves as a strategic platform for creating a human resources reserve to ensure sustainable development in the country's public and private sectors.

Candidates who successfully completed the general knowledge exam will participate in the "Complete the Profile" round scheduled for May 6–16. During this phase, participants must update their personal information through their online accounts to finalize their eligibility for the upcoming analytical assessment.
