Chinese President Xi Jinping has extended his best wishes for the success of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) currently being held in Baku.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the message was delivered by Zhang Guoqing, the Special Representative of the Chinese President, during the Leaders' Summit held as part of WUF13. "It is a great honor for me to represent Mr. Xi Jinping here in Baku and to convey his wishes for the success of the forum's work," Zhang Guoqing stated during his address.
The World Urban Forum, established by the United Nations, is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. By hosting WUF13 in Baku, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its role as a major international hub for global dialogue on urban development, climate resilience, and sustainable housing. The forum brings together government leaders, urban planners, and civil society to address the challenges of rapid urbanization in the 21st century.
