Weather to change in Azerbaijan, with rain and snow forecast

Weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be variably cloudy on Sept. 30, with occasional cloud cover and mostly dry conditions.

The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of this by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Short-term rain is possible in some areas overnight. Moderate northwest winds will be replaced by northeast winds during the day.

Temperatures will be 17-19°C at night and 21-25°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 760 to 763 millimeters of mercury. Relative humidity will be 70-75% at night and 60-65% during the day.

Rain is expected intermittently in some areas of Azerbaijan. In some locations, the rain may be intensive and torrential, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Precipitation is expected to intensify in some eastern districts overnight from Sept. 29 to 30, with rain turning to snow in high mountainous areas. Fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. Moderate easterly winds will blow.

Temperatures will be 17-20°C at night and 25-29°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be 4-8°C at night and 10-15°C during the day.
