The weather forecast for August 17 has been released, providing an outlook for conditions across the capital and the regions of Azerbaijan.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorological Service, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be mainly rainless. A moderate north-westerly wind will prevail.
Temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 22-25°C at night and 28-31°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 759 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels expected to be 70-75% at night and 50-60% during the day.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in some areas. There is a probability of short-term showers and lightning in isolated locations, which are expected to gradually cease during the day. Fog is anticipated in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by an easterly wind.
Temperatures in the regions are forecast to be 20-25°C at night and 30-34°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 12-17°C at night to 20-25°C during the day.
