Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov and his Turkish counterpart Mustafa Ciftci have held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral security cooperation.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Türkiye released information regarding the call on its official X social media account. According to the statement, Minister Mustafa Ciftci held separate telephone conversations with his Azerbaijani colleague Vilayat Eyvazov and Iraq's Interior Minister Abdulemir Kamil Shemmari.
During the discussions, the sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation areas between the respective ministries. The talks focused on enhancing joint efforts in combating transnational crime, ensuring regional security, and sharing institutional expertise between the law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The relationship between the internal affairs authorities of Azerbaijan and Türkiye is built upon a foundation of strategic alliance and mutual trust.
