According to the source, Washington expects positive outcomes from the meetings scheduled to take place in Geneva: "We remain optimistic and look forward to a swift resolution of the conflict," the official stated.
On the other hand, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian President, demonstrated a different position regarding the matter. He emphasized that no significant news is expected from the discussions being held in Geneva today. Peskov added that the trilateral talks will take place in a closed-door format, restricted from media access.
