ABŞ İran limanlarını blokadaya aldı: CENTCOM-dan rəsmi bəyanat

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the deployment of more than 10,000 personnel, over 10 naval vessels, and dozens of aircraft to enforce a maritime blockade of Iranian ports.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the official statement reads: "More than 10,000 American sailors, Marines, and Air Force personnel, along with over ten ships and dozens of aircraft, are executing a mission to prevent cargo vessels from entering Iranian seaports."

According to instructions from the US military, at least six commercial vessels were forced to alter their course and turn back within the first 24 hours of the blockade's implementation. CENTCOM emphasized that the restrictions apply to all vessels regardless of the flag they are flying. This follows a previous confirmation from the leadership of the United States Central Command stating that the military had successfully established the blockade around Iranian maritime hubs.

This escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows strategic directives from the administration of US President Donald Trump. The blockade represents a significant shift in maritime security operations in the Persian Gulf and surrounding waters, aimed at restricting Iran's commercial and logistical capabilities. Such operations by CENTCOM are typically designed to enforce international sanctions or respond to perceived threats to global shipping lanes, which are vital for international energy supplies and trade stability.
