Prominent US defense companies, including industry giants SIG SAUER and Lockheed Martin, are set to make their debut at the upcoming ADEX 2026 international defense exhibition in Baku.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, which cited information provided by the ADEX 2026 organizing committee to Report, the participation of these major US firms marks a significant milestone for the event.
The organizing committee noted that over 200 companies from more than 20 countries have already confirmed their participation, underscoring the growing international profile of the exhibition. In addition to the US debut, the United Kingdom and Germany will join the list of participating nations for the first time. Germany will be represented by the influential defense contractor Rheinmetall.
The exhibition continues to attract traditional international partners as well. Turkey, serving as the main sponsor, will be represented by industry leaders including ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, BAYKAR, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), and HAVELSAN. Other notable international participants include Italy’s Leonardo, the Czech Republic’s Excalibur Army, the UAE’s EDGE Group, and Spain’s INDRA.
Beyond individual corporate participation, several nations will host national pavilions. Belarus, the Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, and Slovakia are confirmed to present their latest defense technologies and industrial solutions through dedicated national exhibitions.
ADEX, the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, has established itself as a premier platform in the region for showcasing cutting-edge military hardware and fostering international defense cooperation. Since its inception, the event has played a critical role in strengthening Azerbaijan's defense capabilities and facilitating strategic partnerships with global military-industrial leaders.
