An unscheduled inspection was carried out at the “Qızıl Saray” wedding hall.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) issued a statement on the matter.

During an inspection of “Qızıl Saray,” owned by individual entrepreneur Eltun Jeyhun oglu Mirzayev and operating at 338A B. Chobanzade Street in Baku’s Nizami district, AFSA staff found several violations of technical regulations, sanitary standards and rules governing food safety.

The meat used at the establishment had no accompanying documents and was found to be unfit for consumption. Inspectors also identified other deficiencies.

An administrative report was drawn up against the establishment’s management over the violations. Samples of the meat offered for consumption were taken and sent to a laboratory for testing. The products were barred from circulation, and the establishment was issued mandatory instructions to remedy the deficiencies.
