UN Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived in Armenia.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Armenian government announced his visit.
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan welcomed Guterres at Zvartnots International Airport.
Guterres is visiting Armenia to attend the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17). The conference brings together governments and other stakeholders to discuss efforts to protect biodiversity and implement the convention.
