At least 25 civilians, including two children, have been killed over the past week as a result of strikes carried out by Ukrainian armed forces on Russian territory.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the data was released by TASS.

Rodion Miroshnik, the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that 176 civilians were injured during the same period due to Ukrainian shelling, 10 of whom are minors. "Twenty-five civilians, including two minors, have died," Miroshnik emphasized during his briefing. According to the official, Kyiv has deployed approximately 3,300 munitions of various types against targets within the Russian Federation over the last seven days.

The escalation of cross-border strikes has become a significant focal point in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. While Kyiv often maintains that its operations target military infrastructure and logistics essential to the Russian war effort, the frequency of incidents involving civilian casualties in border regions has increased. These developments occur amid a broader geopolitical landscape where international observers continue to monitor the humanitarian impact of the hostilities on both sides of the border.
