The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Azerbaijan has expressed its commitment to further strengthening ties between Baku and London, aligning with shared priorities. The diplomatic mission emphasized the importance of the ongoing partnership between the two nations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message was shared on the "X" social media platform in honor of Azerbaijan's Diplomatic Service Day.
"We sincerely congratulate all employees of the Azerbaijani diplomatic service on your professional holiday! We highly value our strong partnership and look forward to the future development of our close cooperation as relations between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan continue to strengthen in line with our common priorities," the statement read.
Diplomatic Service Day in Azerbaijan is celebrated annually on July 9, marking the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1919. This day serves as a significant occasion to recognize the contributions of Azerbaijani diplomats in promoting the country's national interests and foreign policy objectives on the international stage.
