Türkiye’s first lady Emine Erdogan has shared a video highlighting the events she attended on the first day of her visit to New York for the 81st UN General Assembly.
“Protecting our world from the climate crisis and our children from the risks of the digital age requires solidarity that transcends borders and a shared responsibility toward the future,” Erdogan said in a social media post, according to Anadolu Agency.
Events on climate and children’s digital safety
Erdogan, who also chairs the UN Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste, attended the opening event of New York Climate Week.
The video also featured an event titled “Invisible Architecture: Building Safe Digital Systems for Children – Advancing International Standards and Shared Responsibility.”
Türkiye-US friendship event
It included footage from the “100 Years of Friendship: Türkiye-US” event, which Erdogan attended alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
