The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of June 15, the National Salvation Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared a congratulatory message on its official "X" account.
"Our brotherhood is eternal! We congratulate the National Salvation Day of dear Azerbaijan and convey our greetings and sincere respect to the people of the friendly and brotherly country of Azerbaijan. With the concept of 'One Nation, Two States,' we will continue to strengthen our bonds and stand shoulder-to-shoulder under all circumstances," the statement read.
National Salvation Day, celebrated annually on June 15, marks the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993, a pivotal moment that stabilized the country during a period of severe political crisis. The strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, often described by the slogan "One Nation, Two States," has evolved into a comprehensive alliance, particularly in the defense and security sectors, serving as a cornerstone of stability in the South Caucasus region.
