Turan Tovuz considering parting ways with Kurban Berdyev

Turan Tovuz could change its head coach, Football.az reports. The regional club is seriously considering parting ways with Kurban Berdyev.

The reported reason is that the team has not produced the performances expected under the experienced coach. The club’s management set ambitious targets for Berdyev and completed the transfers he requested.

Despite this, the management is said to have doubts about the team’s ability to compete for top positions. Turan Tovuz is considering replacing the 74-year-old coach with a Turkish coach whose name has not been disclosed.

Turan Tovuz sit fourth in the Misli Premier League with 11 points after six rounds. The team has scored six goals in those six matches. No further details have been provided about a possible decision on Berdyev or the identity of the Turkish coach being considered as his replacement.
