Traffic will be partially restricted on sections of Bashir Bunyadov Street in the Sabunchu district of Baku and Mehdi Huseynzade Street in the Ramana settlement due to ongoing road maintenance and repair works.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan (AAYDA).
According to the agency, the repair operations are scheduled to commence on September 5 at 07:00. The partial traffic restrictions will remain in effect until the completion of the road works.
"We request that drivers exercise caution when traveling through the affected areas and appreciate their understanding regarding these necessary infrastructure improvements," the AAYDA statement noted.
The Sabunchu district is one of the largest administrative divisions in Baku, and the AAYDA frequently conducts infrastructure upgrades across the capital to improve road safety and traffic flow. These maintenance projects are part of a broader, ongoing initiative by the Azerbaijani government to modernize the country's transport network and ensure the longevity of urban road infrastructure.
