Traffic congestion has been reported on several key roads in Baku, impacting the flow of vehicles during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current road conditions in the capital of Azerbaijan.
As of the latest update, traffic density is being observed in the following areas:
- The Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, leading up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue;
- The 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow across the city to optimize transit efficiency. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and utilize alternative roads where possible to avoid delays caused by the current congestion.
