Central Asia and Azerbaijan are rightly regarded today as centers of development and geopolitical interaction in Eurasia.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made the remarks at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
Tokayev said peace and stability in the region have been maintained thanks to the wisdom and unity of brotherly peoples.
“Solidarity, mutual support and trust have become our common strategic foundation, enabling us to respond together to the challenges of our time,” he said.
The Kazakhstan president noted that this trend is becoming increasingly important amid rising geopolitical tensions, the transformation of the architecture of international relations and deepening divisions.
“We must therefore do everything we can to ensure that our region continues to be a space of peace, stability and sustainable development,” Tokayev stressed.
The consultative meeting brings together leaders from Azerbaijan and Central Asian states to discuss cooperation and regional issues. Such gatherings provide a forum for dialogue as geopolitical shifts increase the importance of regional connectivity and coordination.
