The head of the Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) Referees Committee, Ferhat Gündoğdu, has been remanded in custody.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Haber Global, reported that custody orders were also issued for four other people.
Two people were released under judicial supervision and banned from leaving the country.
Gündoğdu and the other individuals had been detained as part of an investigation concerning referees.
