On August 13, weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to be variably cloudy and predominantly rainless, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the national weather authority.

Meteorologists report that north-westerly winds will shift to north-easterly during the day. Temperatures are forecasted to range between 23-26°C at night and 31-36°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 757 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected, starting in the northern and western districts. In some areas, short-term downpours accompanied by lightning and hail are possible, with a higher probability of intense precipitation in mountainous and foothill regions. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, with an easterly wind prevailing.

Temperatures in the regions are projected to reach 22-26°C at night and 32-37°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see cooler temperatures ranging from 12-17°C at night to 20-25°C during the day. These temperature fluctuations are characteristic of the summer climate in Azerbaijan, where the Absheron Peninsula often experiences high humidity and heat, while the mountainous regions provide a cooler, albeit more volatile, weather pattern.
