Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach up to 31°C on May 14, as the National Hydrometeorological Service forecasts mostly dry conditions across the country, with some exceptions in mountainous areas.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorological Service, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience changeable cloudy and occasionally gloomy weather. While the day is expected to be mostly rainless, there is a possibility of short-term light showers in some suburban areas during the night and morning hours. A moderate north-west wind will prevail throughout the capital.

In Baku, the temperature is forecasted to range between 16-19°C at night and 23-27°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 751 mm Hg to 755 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 60-70%. In the regions of Azerbaijan, weather conditions will remain largely stable, though daytime precipitation, lightning, and hail are possible in certain mountainous and foothill districts. Temperatures in the lowlands will reach 26-31°C, while mountainous areas will see highs of 15-20°C, reaching up to 26°C in specific locations.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, an agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide early warnings and climate data essential for the country's agricultural and transport sectors. Such fluctuations in spring temperatures are characteristic of Azerbaijan's diverse climate zones, which range from semi-desert to highland tundra.
