Spanish referees appointed for Sabah vs Borussia Dortmund match

A Spanish refereeing team will oversee the UEFA Champions League league-phase third-round match between Sabah and Borussia Dortmund.

FIFA referee Javier Alberola Rojas will be the head referee. He will be assisted by Alfredo Rodriguez Moreno and Carlos Alvarez Fernandez. Victor Garcia Verdura will serve as the fourth official.

Cesar Soto Grado will work as the VAR, with Valentin Gomez as the AVAR. The match will kick off at 20:45 on October 20 at Baku Olympic Stadium.

According to the schedule announced on August 29, Sabah will host Borussia Dortmund in Baku on October 20.
