The Embassy of Slovakia in Baku has extended its congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of National Salvation Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the embassy shared this message on its official "X" (formerly Twitter) social media account.
"The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Baku conveys its sincere congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of National Salvation Day. We wish Azerbaijan lasting peace, stability, and prosperity," the statement read.
National Salvation Day, celebrated annually on June 15, marks a pivotal moment in Azerbaijan's modern history. It commemorates the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993, an event widely regarded as the turning point that prevented the collapse of the state, ended internal instability, and laid the foundation for the country's contemporary development and international integration.
