Most of Azerbaijan experienced dry weather, but heavy rain and thunderstorms affected some areas from the evening.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service provided the update as of 9 a.m. on Oct. 2.
The service said sleet fell overnight in the high-mountain areas of Kalbajar.
Rainfall totals were 46 mm in Balakan, 26 mm in Zagatala, 16 mm in Saribash (Gakh), 12 mm in Sheki, 7 mm in Tovuz, 6 mm in Lerik, 5 mm in Gadabay, Ordubad and Shahbuz, 4 mm in Julfa, 3 mm in Oghuz, Gusar and Dashkasan, 2 mm in Sharur, Sadarak, Guba and Shahdag, and 1 mm in Kalbajar, Gubadli, Lachin, Shusha, Khankendi, Shabran, Naftalan, Nakhchivan, Goygol, Shamkir, Goranboy, Aghstafa, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Zardab, Kurdamir, Yardimli and Lankaran.
