Six high-ranking officers of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have been killed following missile strikes launched by Iran against the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Tasnim News Agency, the strike targeted specific locations within the UAE. Reports indicate that one of the missiles launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck a residential facility used by US intelligence personnel. In addition to the six fatalities, two other CIA officers were reportedly injured in the attack.

The incident follows reports from yesterday confirming that a CIA facility in the UAE was the target of a missile operation conducted by the IRGC. While US President Donald Trump has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the specific casualties, the regional security situation remains highly volatile. The IRGC has frequently targeted strategic assets in the region, citing retaliatory measures against foreign military and intelligence presence.

The United Arab Emirates serves as a critical strategic partner for Western intelligence operations in the Middle East, hosting various facilities that support regional stability and counter-terrorism efforts. This escalation marks a significant increase in direct kinetic action between Iranian forces and US assets, raising concerns over a broader regional conflict. International observers note that such strikes on intelligence infrastructure are rare and signal a shift in the IRGC's operational targeting strategy.
