Bolqarıstanda "Şuşa Parkı" salınacaq: Rəsmi saziş imzalandı

A new recreation area named "Shusha Park" is set to be established in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, marking a significant milestone in bilateral cultural relations.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports this development with reference to the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to official information, a delegation led by the Chairman of the Committee, Anar Guliyev, is currently on a working visit to Bulgaria. Within the framework of the visit, an agreement on cooperation for the establishment and reconstruction of "Shusha Park" was signed between the Government of Azerbaijan, the Government of Bulgaria, and the Veliko Tarnovo Municipality. The document establishes the legal framework for the project's implementation and defines the scope of cooperation between the parties involved.

This initiative serves as a bridge between the two nations, further strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties. The naming of the park after Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, reflects the deep historical and strategic partnership between Baku and Sofia. Veliko Tarnovo, known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, shares a symbolic connection with Shusha, as both cities are regarded as cradles of national culture and heritage in their respective countries. This project follows a series of successful collaborations in urban development and heritage preservation between Azerbaijan and European partners.
