Afət Ziyadqızı
The head of the Shamkir Irrigation Systems Department has been dismissed.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing “Qafqazinfo,” that Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency Chairman Zaur Mikayilov signed an order to this effect.
Under the order, Alim Abbasov was relieved of his post as head of the Shamkir Irrigation Systems Department.
In a separate order, Mushfig Mehdikhanov was appointed to the position. Before his appointment, Mehdikhanov served as chief engineer at the Shamkir Machinery, Canals and Pumping Stations Operation Department.
Footage showing Abbasov insulting a citizen has circulated on social media.
