An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev has arrived in Armenia to participate in the latest round of border delimitation talks. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the delegation's aircraft has already landed at the airport in Yerevan.

Shahin Mustafayev serves as the chairman of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia. The meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, is part of a series of high-level contacts aimed at finalizing the technical and legal framework of the interstate border.

The border delimitation process remains a cornerstone of the normalization efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia following the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty over its territories. These bilateral discussions are intended to establish a clearly defined and mutually recognized border, which is seen as a vital step toward ensuring long-term stability and security in the South Caucasus region. The commissions have been working on the basis of historical maps and legal precedents to resolve territorial discrepancies through diplomatic channels.
