Azerbaijan's National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a severe weather warning for April 4, forecasting intense rainfall and strong winds across the country. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the weather conditions are expected to deteriorate significantly starting from the western regions and moving eastward.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, skies will be changeably cloudy and occasionally overcast, with intermittent rain expected in various locations starting from the morning hours. Forecasters warn that the precipitation may become intense in certain parts of the peninsula, accompanied by thunderstorms. A moderate north-west wind is expected to strengthen periodically during the day, while temperatures will range between 10-14°C at night and 14-16°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is set to rise from 751 mm to 754 mm mercury column, with relative humidity staying between 70-80%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, unstable weather conditions will prevail with heavy rain, lightning, and hail predicted, particularly in the eastern districts. High-altitude mountainous areas are expected to see snowfall. Western winds will intensify in several regions, with temperatures dropping to 2-6°C frost at night in the mountains. This shift in weather patterns is typical for the spring season in the South Caucasus, where rapid temperature fluctuations can trigger localized atmospheric instability and heavy precipitation.
