Monitoring at the Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev Kür settlement comprehensive school in Shamkir district found serious legal and administrative shortcomings in the institution’s operations.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Education Department provided the information.
The department said the school’s director, Ruhiyya Fizuli qizi Rafiyeva, had not properly performed her job duties and obligations under her employment contract. It said she had violated the requirements of relevant regulations, as well as lawful instructions issued by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, and the Regional Education Department. As a result, rules governing the organization of the teaching and educational process, labor discipline and executive discipline were seriously breached.
On the basis of the violations and shortcomings identified, the employment contract with school principal R.F. Rafiyeva was terminated under the relevant article of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
