Rusiyada təyyarə yanacağının ixracına müvəqqəti məhdudiyyət qoyulub

The Russian government has announced a temporary ban on the export of jet fuel, effective until November 30.

According to reports from the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing international media, the Russian cabinet issued a written statement confirming the decision to restrict the export of aviation fuel for a five-month period.

The primary objective of this government directive is to ensure stability within the domestic fuel market and prevent potential shortages. The statement clarified that the ban includes specific exemptions, notably for fuel supplies conducted under existing intergovernmental agreements.

This move follows a broader trend of regulatory interventions in Russia's energy sector. Notably, the country also implemented a ban on gasoline exports starting April 1. The Russian government frequently utilizes such temporary export restrictions as a mechanism to manage domestic supply and demand, particularly during periods of high seasonal consumption or maintenance at domestic refineries.

Russia remains one of the world's largest producers of oil and refined petroleum products. These periodic export bans are often viewed by market analysts as strategic measures to prioritize domestic energy security and mitigate inflationary pressures on fuel prices within the country.
