The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan has officially announced the results of the graduation exams held on April 5 for ninth-grade students. Out of the 49,701 students expected to participate, 326 were absent, while six individuals were disqualified for violating examination regulations. Notably, eight students achieved the maximum possible score of 300 points.

According to information provided by the SEC to the Operative Information Center-OMM, students can access their results, including a graphic representation of their answer sheets, through the official SEC website using their work number and personal identification (FIN) code. Alternatively, participants can receive their scores via SMS by sending their exam code to the number 7727 across all major mobile operators in Azerbaijan, including Azercell, Bakcell, and Nar.

The evaluation of open-ended tasks was conducted through a specialized online software developed by SEC experts. This system allowed markers to grade papers remotely while utilizing facial recognition technology to ensure security. To maintain high standards, the SEC implemented "seeding" techniques and random task distribution among markers. The graduation exams are a critical component of the national education system in Azerbaijan, serving as a standardized assessment of student performance at the secondary level and determining eligibility for further technical or vocational education.

An Appeals Commission will be active from May 4 to May 6 to address inquiries regarding the results. Students must register electronically on the SEC website, specifying the task number and the grounds for their appeal based on established assessment criteria. The SEC noted that appeals regarding technical errors caused by students, such as incorrect marking on optical sheets, will not be considered. Before applying, students are encouraged to review the evaluation criteria and their scanned answer sheets available on the SEC portal.
