Registration for the second attempt of the Master's degree admission exam, scheduled for June 14, is now open for bachelors in Azerbaijan. According to the official announcement, the application process will be conducted online through the official portal until 23:59 on May 23.
The State Examination Center (SEC) informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that the examinations will be held in Baku, Absheron, and Sumgait. All candidates who were registered for the previous exam session on May 17 are eligible to participate in this second round. Notably, the exam will be free of charge for bachelors who obtained their admission tickets for the May 17 session but were unable to attend due to adverse weather conditions in the capital and surrounding areas. Other candidates may also retake the exam by paying the required fee. Furthermore, students who participate in multiple attempts are permitted to use their highest score during the specialization selection process.
The Master's degree admission process in Azerbaijan is a centralized system managed by the State Examination Center to ensure transparency and merit-based placement in higher education institutions. This multi-attempt format allows students to improve their results, reflecting the government's commitment to expanding educational opportunities and supporting human capital development. The transition to digital registration and result processing is part of the broader "Electronic Government" initiative aimed at streamlining public services for citizens across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
