People's Artist and prominent theater and film director Ramiz Hasanoglu has been awarded an "Honorary Diploma" by the Ministry of Culture on the occasion of his 80th anniversary.
The Ministry of Culture informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that Minister of Culture Adil Karimli personally presented the honorary award to the veteran director. During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the People's Artist has made significant contributions to the development of national culture through his long-term and fruitful activities. He specifically noted that Hasanoglu's documentary films serve as a vital service in enriching the historical and cultural memory of the people of Azerbaijan.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished figures of the arts community, including Haji Ismayilov, Chairman of the Union of Azerbaijan Theater Workers, and People's Artists Ilham Namiq Kamal and Mabud Maharramov. Additionally, Honored Art Workers Jamil Guliyev, Director of the State Film Fund, and film critic Ayaz Salayev spoke about Ramiz Hasanoglu's rich artistic journey and his impact on the cinematic landscape of Azerbaijan.
