Rain, wind and thunderstorms forecast for Azerbaijan on Oct. 5

The weather forecast for Oct. 5 has been announced.

According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, skies in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be variably cloudy and mostly dry. However, rain is expected in some areas in the evening. The northwesterly wind will shift to a southeasterly wind during the day.

Temperatures will range from 12°C to 15°C overnight and from 18°C to 22°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will fall from 770 mm to 766 mm of mercury. Relative humidity will be 60%-70%.

Mostly dry weather is expected in Azerbaijan’s regions. However, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are forecast in some parts of the Lankaran-Astara region. Fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. An easterly wind will blow.

Temperatures will range from 9°C to 14°C overnight and from 18°C to 23°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero overnight and from 5°C to 10°C during the day.
