Intermittent rain is falling in some areas of the Guba-Gusar region.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that this was stated in the National Hydrometeorological Service’s information as of 9 a.m. on September 25.
The amount of precipitation was recorded at 7 millimeters in Gusar and up to 1 millimeter in Khachmaz and Guba.
However, weather conditions were mainly dry across Azerbaijan.
Northwest winds are currently blowing, with maximum speeds reaching 22 meters per second in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula and 20 meters per second in Neftchala.
Weather conditions in Azerbaijan can vary considerably by region due to the country’s diverse terrain, which ranges from coastal lowlands to mountainous areas. Localized rainfall and stronger winds are therefore possible even when most areas remain dry.
