Bakıda və Abşeron yarımadasında yanvarın 28-də yağış gözlənilir

Intermittent rain is forecast for several areas of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on January 28.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, that a mild south-east wind will prevail throughout the day. The air temperature is expected to range between 2–4°C at night and 5–9°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 768 mm Hg to 763 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels reaching 75–85%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to be mostly rainless during the day. However, intermittent rain and snow are anticipated in some areas toward the evening, with the possibility of intensified precipitation in specific locations. Fog is also expected in certain districts, while the western wind will strengthen in some mountainous and foothill regions.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors weather patterns across the country to provide timely updates for the public and relevant state agencies. Such seasonal fluctuations in the Absheron Peninsula are typical for late January, often influenced by shifting air masses over the Caspian Sea. Residents and drivers in mountainous areas are advised to remain cautious due to potential fog and increased wind speeds.
