Intensive precipitation and unstable weather conditions are expected in various regions of Azerbaijan tomorrow, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy. While the day will be mostly rainless, there is a strong probability of rain in certain areas during the morning and evening hours. A moderate north-west wind will prevail throughout the day.
The air temperature in the capital will range from 7-9°C at night to 12-17°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is forecast to drop from 757 mm Hg to 753 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 75-85%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, weather conditions are expected to be occasionally rainy, with intensive downpours, lightning, and hail predicted for specific locations. High-altitude mountainous areas are likely to see snowfall. Fog is also expected in some districts during the night and morning hours, accompanied by a moderate west wind. Temperatures in the regions will reach 13-18°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see highs of 5-10°C.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide timely alerts regarding seasonal weather shifts. Such fluctuations in temperature and precipitation are characteristic of the transitional climate patterns in the South Caucasus, where maritime influences from the Caspian Sea meet continental air masses.
