Following the military strikes carried out by Israel against Iran, the State of Qatar has issued an official statement regarding the current security situation in the country.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that despite the escalation of regional tensions, the internal situation remains stable and secure.
The country's Ministry of Interior emphasized that relevant security agencies are continuously monitoring the course of events and taking all necessary preventive measures to maintain public order. In an official statement, the ministry noted:
“State authorities maintain full control over the safety of citizens, residents, and tourists visiting the country. Despite the military activity occurring in the region, the uninterrupted operation of all state and social services has been ensured. Security agencies are managing the situation in a manner that prevents any negative impact on the flow of daily life.”
The heightened security measures come as the Middle East faces increased volatility due to the ongoing confrontation between Israel and Iran. Qatar, which plays a significant role as a regional mediator and host to major international diplomatic and military facilities, maintains a high state of readiness to safeguard its infrastructure and population during periods of geopolitical instability. This proactive approach by the Ministry of Interior aims to reassure international partners and the local public of the country's resilience against external regional shocks.
