A proposal has been made to establish an Azerbaijani Identity Institute in the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Milli Majlis deputy Tahir Mirkishili spoke about the proposal during the parliament’s plenary session on October 13.
The lawmaker said that, in light of hybrid attacks against Azerbaijan, there was a strong need to establish such an institute. “I am confident that such an institute could make a significant contribution to enriching the content of the national ideology,” he said.
The proposal was raised during a plenary session of Azerbaijan’s parliament. The Milli Majlis is the country’s legislative body, where lawmakers discuss proposed measures and public policy.
